Trek through villages, across the river in the valleys, terraced rice paddies, bamboo forests, rhododendron and oak forests.
All along the trail, the snow-capped peaks of Macchapuchare (Fish Tail Mountain), Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, Dhaulagiri peep up from behind the mountains, reminding you of your destination – Annapurna Base Camp. Wherever you stand at the heart of the Annapurna range, the 360-degree views are unspeakably astounding.
Trekking the Annapurna range is comfortable, with local tea houses lined along the trail. It is easy to stop for a warm cup of lemon tea, lunch and rest for the night.
