Q:What’s the Wild Trips experience like?

Wild Trips aims to reduce hassle and offer travelers as much autonomy and flexibility as possible. You’re basically covered from the moment you arrive at your destination; to the moment you’re dropped off at the airport for your return flight.

You’ll realise that our trips are designed around diving and trekking, but that’s not all – with each trip, we offer add-on activities that are highly recommended at each destination so that you don’t miss out on other fun stuff. Because #YOLO, and #FOMO.

Our support doesn’t end when you book with us – we believe in providing an all-rounded support for travelers so that you have a worry-free holiday. We’ll arm you with a personalised “Trip Briefing” handbook so that you know exactly what to prepare for and expect on your trip, as well as get access to inside tips such as where to get the best food, and traps to avoid…

Plus, we’re always on standby to provide assistance on your trip – somehow missed your driver, or an activity just got cancelled due to inclement weather? #nosweat. We’ll be on hand to help you out.

Q:Will you be travelling with us?

In a nutshell – no, unless you prefer paying for our airfare (which essentially is what other companies offering group trips are doing). What we have though, are our locals providing at-destination support from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.

Q:Are your trips safe?

We believe in first and foremost, understanding what we sell. Each activity you see on the website has been extensively researched, with extra precautions taken for ensuring your safety – this means ensuring that providers adhere to strict safety procedures, industry best practices and maintain their equipment properly. In order to do so, we undertake recces when necessary before launching a new destination.

This is especially important because of the nature of the activities you are undertaking, and we, as a result share responsibility for.

Q:Are departure dates fixed?

Generally, with the exception of dive liveaboards, no.

You determine your departure dates and we’ll arrange the trip. For single travelers though, we may sometimes suggest joining in fixed departures so that you can avoid steep premiums associated with single travel.

Q:What’s included in the prices?

Specific inclusions will differ between individual trips, but as a general rule of thumb; accommodation, activities, airport transfers and other necessary land transfers are included in our land packages.

You’ll be able to find a detailed rundown of inclusions and exclusions in each itinerary.

Q:Can I book my own flights?

Yes! In fact, most of our guests do so in order to accrue credit card rebates and earn rewards.

Just send us a copy of your flight itinerary once you’ve booked your flights so that we can arrange your airport transfers.

Q:How do I confirm a booking?

In order to confirm an itinerary, we require the following from each traveller:
• A copy of your passport
• Completed booking form
• 50% deposit on land package and (if applicable) 100% of flight cost(s)

Q:How can I make payment?

We accept payment via bank transfers or cheques in order to minimize transactional costs and, correspondingly, maximize value for you.

Q:Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. We can accept payment via credit cards; an additional 4% surcharge will be applied to cover the additional transactional costs.

In the booklet, you’ll find all the information you need pertaining to your trip, as well as insider tips including, but not restricted to:
• Detailed itinerary
• Packing list
• Information on how to get around
• Key attractions that you can visit on your free time
• Food and drinks

Q:What are your cancellation policies?

Cancellation charges apply as a percentage of the total land package price, as follows:
• More than 45 days: 30% of land package
• 15 to 45 days: 50% of land package
• 14 days or less: 100%
